Position Details

• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 5x8 (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

• Floating: Yes, within facility and scope of care only

• Return to Office Restrictions: No more than 7 days absence/tardiness allowed during 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must be full shift length)
• Earbuds/Cellphones: Not allowed during shifts

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years (higher value confirmed)
• First-time Travelers: Will review 1st time travelers with Trauma I experience and at least 2 years’ experience
• National Certifications Required: One of the following:

  • CBSPD
  • CRST (Through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
• BLS Certification: Not required
• SPD Instrument Tracking System: Censis (CensiTrac required)
• Preferred Equipment Knowledge: Belimed washers/sterilizers

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 6 months (7-year search including statewide, nationwide, and international if applicable)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG quarterly checks
  • State-specific searches and registries as applicable
• Licenses:

  • Primary source verification of professional license required
  • Missouri licenses verifiable on NURSYS
  • Pending state licenses accepted with approval
• Certifications:

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, CPI/MAB as applicable by unit
  • IV Certification required for LPN/LVNs in Missouri
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Unit-specific competency exams, including Oncology if assigned to Med Surg-Oncology
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency for Monitor Techs
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year
  • Fit mask test (annual renewal required)
  • Tdap vaccine or declination (expires every 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (with yearly questionnaire)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination/declination as applicable
  • Drug testing within 1 year, must include specific panels and be valid throughout assignment
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (09/30 - 04/01)
• Facility Specific Documents:

  • HIPAA Acknowledgement, Latex Allergy Questionnaire, Confidentiality Form, Regulatory Compliance Education, Hep B Declination, TB Questionnaire, Hand Hygiene Policy, Fingernail Policy, Dress Code Policy, Orientation Modules (for RNs and LVNs)
  • Badge photo and Aya Healthcare badge required
  • Vehicle registration form required for day shift workers
