Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hours for 3x12 shifts
- 40 hours for 8/10 shifts

- Time-sensitive training modules must be prioritized and completed promptly

Background Check: 7-year criminal check within 1 year of start, updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
Florida AHCA Level II Fingerprint Results required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting mandatory)
State License Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start
NURSYS Verification within 30 days of start (for all RNs)
Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen plus Nicotine within 1 year of start (no FL Medical Marijuana card accepted)
Physical Exam within 6 months of start
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
Immunizations:
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
Seasonal Flu Vaccination required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
COVID-19: Initial vaccine series or approved medical/religious exemption required

Training & Competency Requirements

ACLS and BLS certifications required (provider card or RQI acceptable; instructor cards not accepted)
Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Pharmacology) administered during orientation (2 attempts allowed per test)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
Core HIPAA and Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
Online Training Modules must be completed by due date (access provided after contract signing)
NIH Stroke Certification required for applicable units (not specifically Cath Lab)
Orientation includes time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized and completed before start

Additional Notes

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with application; late requests likely will not be approved
Facility is smoke-free and requires nicotine-free status with testing
Candidates must be aware of on-call requirements during evenings and weekends
Locals accepted and paid at the same rate as travelers
