Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Job Description
- Immediate start for a CT Tech experienced with Siemens equipment (Level 5 – Very Experienced)
- Must be very experienced with Epic EMR
- Work at a busy, high-volume Level 1 trauma and Level 1 stroke certified hospital
- Required certifications and credentials:
- ARRT (CT) registry
- BLS-CPR card
- Texas State Medical Board license (TMB)
- Influenza vaccination documentation
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of CT Tech experience (highest requirement applied)
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital required
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – required for all candidates
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – preferred for certain units (not specifically required for CT Tech)
- Other certifications listed are primarily for nursing units and may not apply to this role
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 1 year
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination required (TDAP only, exemptions possible with documentation)
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required year-round
- Drug testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- COVID vaccines highly encouraged but not mandatory
Background and Documentation
- Government issued photo ID required
- Standard background check within 30 days of start (includes SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
- Education verification of initial and most recent related degree required
- Two professional references verified within one year of start
- Skills checklist updated annually and valid at start date
Orientation and Onboarding
- Must attend Occupational Health Appointment and Orientation prior to start
- Orientation held once per week on Tuesdays
- Several facility-specific documents and electronic forms must be completed prior to documentation due date
