Location
- Farmington, Connecticut
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
Schedule
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- May be required to participate in rotating mandated 4-hour shifts at the end of the original shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Permanent Connecticut RN license is required; a temporary license may be allowed if the permanent license is pending
- Two references are required, both from the past 2 years and both must have directly supervised the candidate
- Must complete a physical exam within 12 months of start and annually thereafter
- Tdap vaccination is required within 10 years of start
- Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption documentation is required
- Drug screening is required within 30 days of start
- Background check and education verification are required before start
