Job Overview

- Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4x10s, 1:30 PM–12:00 AM
- On-call: Required, with rotation among staff members Friday–Sunday
- Floating: Not required
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Current state license must be in hand at start
- BLS
- ARRT (CT)
- SCRQSA (CT)
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology, or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation
Key Job Duties
- Perform high-quality CT examinations under general supervision
- Work with patient populations from newborn through geriatrics
- Support inpatient, outpatient, ER, and scheduled interventional cases
- Start IVs
- Administer contrast
- Assist with biopsies
- Use PACS
Work Environment
- Level III trauma, acute care hospital
- 286 staffed beds
Additional Notes
- Radiation badge is required
- Color blind testing is required before start
- All modules must be completed before start
- Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams
