Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Tucson, Arizona
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 4x12 hours, 11:00–23:30
  • 48 hours per week
  • 3x12s may be offered if preferred
  • Patient ratio: 1:5
  • Approximately 210 visits per day
  • Every other weekend coverage required, with 4 weekend shifts per contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Experience caring for ventilated patients
  • Experience with Epic
  • No locals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level I trauma experience

Additional Notes

  • Supports PCTs and a medic
