Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: Fri/Sat/Sun, 18:30–07:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- On-call required with variable days; overnight and weekend call are included
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating not allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of applicable nursing experience
- Experience with neuro cases including craniotomy and VP shunt procedures
- Experience with orthopedic surgical cases
- Experience managing airway emergencies
- Circulating skills in the operating room
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- CNOR
- 3+ years of experience
- Children’s hospital experience
Unit / Clinical Focus
- Pediatric OR
- Service lines include ortho/spine, craniofacial/neuro/plastics/oral, ENT/ophthalmology, gen/uro/GYN/robotics, and cardiac
- Patient population ranges from neonates to adults
Notes
- The role may consider strong candidates without pediatric experience if they have at least 3 years of neuro and ortho OR experience
