Radiation Therapist

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Lancaster, California
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 10:30–19:00
  • 40 hours per week
  • No weekends, no on-call, no float
  • Fast-paced clinic with about 35 treatment visits per day
  • Adult/geriatric patients with cancer diagnoses
  • One Varian treatment machine and one departmental CT simulator
  • 8-hour orientation
  • Wine/burgundy scrubs required and not provided

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
  • Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
  • ARRT (T)
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Experience in an Outpatient setting
  • Custom Molds experience
  • Custom Shield experience
  • Block cutting experience
  • CBCT/kV/mV imaging experience
  • Wedges experience
  • Benign Brain Tumors treatment experience
  • External Beam Therapy experience
  • Gynecomastia treatment experience
