Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in La Jolla, California
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 2 years of CVICU experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with Cerner
- Two satisfactory references
- Employment application

- Background check
- HHS/OIG screening
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity/vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Flu vaccination or declination
- Vaccine attestation form
- Primary source verification of license within 30 days of start
Schedule / Float
- May be required to float down and across the organization to like units or lower-acuity units, excluding the ED
- Block schedule of Fri/Sat/Sun may be allowed
- Must work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
