Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina
Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Night shift: 18:45-07:15
36-48 hours can be offered
Target ratio: 1:7
Contract length: 13 weeks
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
Unit accepts first-time travelers
MOAB certification
EPIC required
RTO after booking is not allowed

Preferred Qualifications

Congenital/developmental disorders
Profound impulse control issues
Starting and maintaining IVs

Unit Details

Behavioral Health is split between 2 floors: 2nd and 9th
Team members rotate between both floors and are expected to work in every area of acuity
Adults, geriatrics, and all mental health diagnoses are treated
Floating may be required to task in med surg units when needed

Unit orientation is 32 hours
Hospital orientation is during week one, and the traveler must be available for classes each day
