Overview
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Unit type: 29-bed stepdown unit; not Tele or ICU, with Tele and Stepdown patients
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- Schedule notes: Every other weekend and holidays if needed
- Floating: Must be willing to float to other Tele floors as needed
- Local candidates: Considered within a 60-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Stepdown (2 years of experience)
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Critical Care setting
- Airway management experience
- Management of dysrhythmias experience
- Central line management experience
- Interpretation of ABGs experience
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure experience
- Experience with Epic
