• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

• Mixed-acuity surgical unit caring for PCU and Med Surg patients
• Patient population: adults and geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include surgical oncology, hepatobiliary cancers, colorectal cancer, and reconstructive/plastics cases
• Common procedures and treatments include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, oncologic emergencies, cytokine release syndrome, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Staffing goal is 1:4, with assignments sometimes reaching 1:5
• Weekends are variable based on unit needs
• Travelers may be required to float within scope of practice
• Rotating day/night scheduling may occur depending on department needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
