Outpatient EP RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in an outpatient cardiology clinic
  • Adult cardiac patients only
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day, 5x8s, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • EP RN experience
  • Device management experience
  • EP tech experience

Role Responsibilities

  • Support EP device services
  • Review remote reports and alerts
  • Assist with higher-level patient advice requests
  • Triage urgent patient symptoms
  • Supervise stress tests
  • Handle consults and follow-ups

Work Setting

  • Outpatient ambulatory cardiology office
  • Uses EPIC for charting

Schedule / Assignment Details

  • No weekends
  • No on-call
  • No floating between like units
