Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Beckley, West Virginia
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Daily caseload: 70
• Patient ratio experience: 1:4
• First-timers accepted
• No on-call
• Does not float within scope
• Does not float to sister facilities
• Locals not accepted
• Local radius rule: candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Pending state license accepted
• Guaranteed hours: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology (2 years of experience)
• Oncology experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Tdap vaccination given after age 11
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Annual fit testing
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Annual skills checklist for the specialty
• 1 reference from a Manager, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse from a facility worked within 1 year of start
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Treatment - External Beam Therapy
• IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy
• Prophylactic Treatments
• Radiation Safety

Preferred

• ONC
• Infusion Center Experience
• Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology Experience

• Orientation is every other Thursday for RNs
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
