Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Based in a cardiac stepdown unit with a significant cardiac patient population.
- 55 beds on the unit.
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours.
- Ratios: 1:4.
- Weekend requirement: as needed, rotating.
- Float requirement: yes.
- On-call requirement: none.
- Block scheduling: case by case.
- Scrub color: any, no logo.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with cardiac patients.
- Cardiovascular experience.
- Drivers License/State ID.
- Education verification.
- 7-year work history verification.
- Employment application/resume.
- Unit-specific skills checklist.
- Color blind testing.
- Negative TB or chest X-ray.
- Physical exam within 12 months of start.
- Fit test within 1 year of start.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start.
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season.
- Fingerprinting for New Mexico placements.
- E-Verify.
- Background check.
