Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Lubbock, Texas
• 16-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Floating between units is required
• On-call is required based on unit census
• Weekends are required: 5 shifts in a 6-week period
• Block scheduling is not required
• Expected patient ratio: 1:3–5
• 48 hours are not approved

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
• Pediatric Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Pediatrics experience
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• NRP required
• Education verification required
• 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application required and must include at least the last 5 years of employment
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
• Fit mask required for travel starts
• RespSafety clearance required for travel starts
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• Tdap required within 10 years
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination is preferred to have on file
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Background check required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
• Washington State Patrol search is required for Washington and border facility placements
• Float policy acknowledgement required
