Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Rancho Mirage, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum unit
- 22 rooms, 28 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced
- NRP
- IV Start
- Post Partum experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience preferred; 2 years accepted
Unit Details
- Ratios: 1:2 and 1:4 in postpartum
- Intensivist in house 24/7
- Hospitalist in house 24/7
- Anesthesiologist in house 24/7
- Charting: EPIC Stork
- Medication system: Omnicell
Schedule Notes
- On-call shift once every schedule
- For a 3x12s contract, on-call is once per schedule every 4 weeks
- For a 4x12s contract, no call shifts

- Belmont Rapid Infuser
- Phillips Fetal Monitor
- CADD epidural pump
- Baxter IV pumps
- ATOM cribs and warmers
