Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Kennesaw, Georgia
• Home Health role with home visits and periodic office meetings

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Georgia
• Physical Therapy Assistant (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or National CPR Foundation
• Experience in a Home Health setting
• Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Agency-required liability insurance
• Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic
• Must have license in hand unless the license takes a few days to obtain

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Average patient load: 5–6 patients per day
• Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
• Typical assignment volume: 5–10 patients per day, roughly 6–8 points
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Travel is compensated from patient home to patient home; commute to the first and last patient is not billable
• May visit patients in care facilities and in patients’ homes
• May float to a nearby clinic if patient census is low
• Standard schedule is usually 5x8s Monday–Friday; some positions may use a Baylor shift schedule of 4x10s Friday–Monday
