Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Location: Rockville, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday (5 days/week, 8 hours/day, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Patient Ratios:

• Weekdays: 1 PT to 5 patients
• Weekends: 1 PT to 3 patients

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• No floating between units required.
• No on-call duties.
• Block scheduling accommodations available.
• Facility is smoke- and nicotine-free; any use of nicotine products (including vaping, gum, patches) will result in automatic cancellation if detected on drug screening.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Maryland.
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of PT experience.
• Facility enforces strict tobacco/nicotine-free policy for all staff.
• Fingerprinting required only if assigned to behavioral health units (not applicable here).
• No on-call or floating duties expected.
• Orientation includes acknowledgment of tobacco-free workplace and HIPAA compliance.
