Job Opportunity: VAD Coordinator (Registered Nurse)

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 24 weeks


Job Description

  • Work primarily at a major medical center with 8-hour day shifts.
  • Required to float to other facilities within the system as needed.
  • Manage ambulatory Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) with at least 2 VAD management experiences required.
  • Experience in Cardiology and ICU settings is necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience within the last year.
  • Experience in Cardiology nursing.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting.
