Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Surgical Services)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 21 weeks (approximately 5 months)
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (10:40 AM – 11:10 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Tier 2 cardiac surgical services role with focus on cardiac/thoracic procedures.
- Key skills required: ECMO, CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), ascending aorta procedures, LVAD, thoracic surgery including robotic (Da Vinci Xi), lobectomy, mitral valve surgery, VATS, lung resection.
- Transplant experience required (kidney and liver).
- Trach care experience required.
- Teaching experience and prior work in a Level I hospital required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Completion of a surgical technologist program.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Transplant experience with kidney and liver required.
- Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in surgical services.
