Medical Surgical RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Saint Louis, Missouri
  • Start date: 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance
  • 13-week contract
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Patient ratio: 1:3–5
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating is required within the service line
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • Guaranteed hours
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of Med Surg experience
  • Med Surg experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic

Clinical Setting

  • Short-term acute care
  • Magnet and teaching hospital
  • Level I trauma center
  • Acute care medicine patient population

Charting

  • EPIC required

Additional Notes

  • No on-call requirement
  • RTO limit: no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
  • Navy blue scrubs
