Location: Winfield, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
Hours per Week: 40
On Call: Yes; 30-minute radius, 13.5 hours, rotating as needed
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Meal Break: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT
• Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
• Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• 1 year of experience in a similar role within an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab
• Bachelor of Science degree

Role Highlights

• Special procedures include biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled hemodialysis catheters, post placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations
• Cath lab work includes diagnostic and interventional procedures, IABP, IVUS, and IMPELLA
• Equipment includes Siemens C-Arm, single and bi-plane, and GE ultrasound
