• Patient Population: Level 2 Trauma, Pediatrics, AMIs, Strokes, MVA, Gun Shots, Sepsis, CHF; serves a lower-income Hispanic population.
• Pediatric Volume: 30%

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-timers not accepted.
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BCLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • LA City Fire Card
  • CA State License
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call Requirement: No
• Local Radius: 50 miles (local candidates may receive a lower rate)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off once per two-week pay period.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with antibiotics, vasopressors, opioids, sedation, anti-hypertensives, anti-seizure, and cardiac medications.

• Background Check: Required within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked within the past 7 years.
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • TB Test or Chest X-Ray
  • Vaccinations (TDAP, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu, COVID-19)
  • Drug Testing (10 Panel)
• References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years.
