Job Opportunity: Technologist - Echo (Days)
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Operate ultrasound equipment to create detailed images of the heart.
- Perform and analyze echocardiograms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring cardiovascular conditions.
- Explain procedures to patients and maintain/operate ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain patient records and collaborate with cardiologists.
- Participate in ongoing education.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or CCI (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer) [Required]
- Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography (echo tech) experience [Required]
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
