Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Rock Island, Illinois
• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
• Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December/early January holiday periods.

Requirements

• Illinois RN license (active at time of submission).
• Iowa RN license required; if not active, proof of application for Iowa single state or compact RN license must be provided.
• At least 2 years of previous nursing experience.
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract.
• Must be able to float between facilities.
• Must submit:

  • Work history/resume
  • Skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
  • License verification
  • Required certifications (ACLS and BLS from AHA)
  • One supervisory reference
  • Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Certifications

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Additional Information

• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• On-call and charge/precept pay available.
• Must comply with state licensing requirements for Illinois and Iowa.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced travel nurses who meet licensure and certification requirements and are comfortable with floating between campuses and working holiday shifts.
