Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Night shift position in Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system required.

Requirements

• Specialty: Stepdown / Progressive Care nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required (highest stated requirement).
• Must have at least 24 months of current Stepdown/Progressive Care work history.
• EPIC experience required.
• Active Illinois nursing license required at time of application.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC).
• Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline required.
• Professional references from within the last 24 months preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required).

• Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year.

• Call back and on-call pay available.
