Location: Marshalltown, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
Patient types include Telemetry, Post-Op Surgical, Orthopedic, and General Surgery
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips
Administer drips including Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Use EPIC electronic medical records system for charting
On-call and holiday pay multipliers apply

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an inpatient setting
Drip experience with Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Orthopedics experience
Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid driver’s license

First-time travel nurses accepted if they meet the minimum 24 months of nursing experience
Orientation date available (specific date not included here)
