Mammography Technologist – Permanent Position

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10

Job Summary

Perform a variety of mammography exams applying principles, theories, and techniques of mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Oregon
• Minimum 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in stereotactic biopsy
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• Image Wisely pledge certificate (or obtain within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter)
• Image Gently pledge certificate (or obtain within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter)

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in using personal computers and relevant software
• Ability to operate office equipment
• Effective interpersonal skills for interdepartmental and public interaction
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision
• Consistent punctual attendance
