Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulating (Days)

Location: Bad Axe, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Perform duties according to medical center policies, mission, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work in a surgical department providing outpatient and inpatient surgeries for adults and children.
• Surgical specialties include Cancer, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, Ophthalmological Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry Surgery, and Urological Surgery.
• Surgical team available 24/7 for emergency surgeries.
• Unit size: 3 OR rooms plus a Procedure Room.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Electronic Medical Record system: CPSI.

• Shift: Days
• Hours per day: 9

Required Qualifications

• Previous OR Circulating experience is required.
• Experience in Ortho, OB-GYN, and General Surgery is required.
• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic surgeries.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• Nonbillable initial hours: 12 hours.
• The position involves working in a technologically advanced surgical department committed to superior patient care.
