Registered Nurse (RN) — Behavioral Health

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Shift: Days
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Behavioral Health (1.25 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred

De-escalation certification such as MAB, CPI, MOAB, or SAMA

Other Important Details

1st-time travelers are welcomed
Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
No locals accepted; minimum 50 miles from the facility
Orientation is 16 hours
Patient population is adults and geriatric patients, ages 18+
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5–7
