Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health (Days)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide physical therapy services to home health clients, including direct patient care, collaboration with team members, and participation in developing comprehensive patient care plans. Use rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts (MA PT License)
• Home Health Certification (certified home health experience including proficiency with OASIS is non-negotiable)
• Minimum 2 years of acute nursing care (hospital-based) and home care experience
• Valid Driver’s License and must have own vehicle
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Physical Therapist license current to within 1 year

Additional Information

• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered)
• Requests for time off during the assignment must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no requests accepted after offer
• Non-billable orientation required (8 hours)
• This is a home health position requiring travel to patient homes

Specialty Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy with acute nursing care and home care focus

Prior Travel Experience
