Assignment Details

Float assignment with required coverage in the Medical Care Unit, Post Surgical Unit, and Intermediate Care Unit/PCU
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Float (2 years of experience)
Float experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Core Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within RN scope of practice
Teach patients and significant others
Document patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Adapt to rapidly changing patient and unit needs
Respond to patient crisis and emergency situations

Additional Notes

Resume required
Skills checklist required within 1 year
Certifications must be obtainable if not active at submission
COVID vaccination is not required
