Radiologic Technologist X-Ray

Overview

• Permanent position in San Leandro, California.
• Varied shift, 8 hours per day.
• Mobile bedside diagnostic role providing portable X-ray service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in California.
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• ARRT.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain the vehicle and x-ray equipment.

Physical Demands

• May need to push/pull 50–100 lbs.
• Force of 50 lbs or more may occur 16 to 24 times per day.
