Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab

Location: Auburn, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Weekdays, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call: 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month (30-minute response time)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Rotation: Call only
• Floating: May float to nearby facilities
• EMR System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Provided

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (1 year minimum required; 2+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
• RCIS or RT(R) certification
• Washington State License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures including:

  • Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC/RHC)
  • NSTEMI and STEMI cases
  • Use of Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral (leg) diagnostics/interventions, and loop recorders
• Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures including:

  • Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred, including:

  • G and GJ tube placements/exchanges, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, IVC filter placement, dialysis catheters, ports, GI coil and chemo embolizations, thoracentesis/paracentesis, clot extraction, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, Y90s, TIPs, biopsies
  • Note: No neuro IR procedures required
• Ability to scrub and operate the table simultaneously
• Monitoring experience preferred

• Considered open to first-time travelers if they have 2+ years of experience
• Must be able to work with multiple patient types and complex procedures
• Required to complete various compliance and credentialing documentation and screenings (e.g., background check, drug screen, immunizations, certifications)

This position is ideal for experienced Cardiovascular Technologists with strong Cath Lab and EP skills, who are comfortable with on-call responsibilities and working in a fast-paced interventional environment.
