Beds: 16
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2, occasionally 1:3
Patient Types: Variety of ICU acuity patients including ventilated patients, BIS scoring, targeted temperature management (TTM), and rarely intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
Drip Titration: Required (vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, insulin)
Charge Nurse: Present on each shift and takes an assignment
Nurse Aids/Patient Care Techs: None on unit
Physician Support: eICU support available for 14 rooms; no in-house intensivist 24/7

Must have a valid driver’s license at time of submission
Candidates must live within 50 miles radius of the facility
Candidates may not currently be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with a specific large healthcare system (restrictions apply)
Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to comply will result in contract termination
Looking for positive, team-oriented nurses willing to collaborate and overcome challenges
Return to Orientation (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start; no additional RTO extensions will be approved

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
