Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Ripley, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a Radiology Unit with 1 CT scanner and 2 X-ray rooms.
• Perform approximately 10-20 CT scans and 100 X-ray exams per day.
• Equipment used includes GE X-ray and Cannon CT scanners.
• May need to float to the Operating Room (OR) occasionally.
• Schedule typically consists of three 12-hour shifts, primarily afternoons and midnights (e.g., 7a-7p, 9a-9p, or 7p-7a).
• Weekend work and standby call with a 1-hour response time may be required.
• Department-specific orientation provided on site.
• Scrubs of any color are allowed; scrubs are not provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - Radiography)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Additional Information

• Use of EPIC for EMR and FUJI for PACS systems.
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) or in-house radiologist on site.
• IV starts limited to outpatient settings; nursing supervisor assistance available if needed.
