Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Required Experience

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Certifications

BLS (AHA or ARC) required
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required

Work Environment & Equipment

Department has 1 scanner/room
May be floated to a nearby location (~6.5 miles away)
Imaging/studies performed include: Cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, gastric emptying
Average 5-10 scans/studies per day
EMR/PACS systems used: Radnet & Merge Unity
Equipment brand: GE
Radiologist available in-house
No IV starts required
No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used

Scheduling & Shifts

8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
No block scheduling, self-scheduling not indicated
Rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM
Rotating weekend call
Rotating holiday on-call
Scrub color: Teal
