Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Location: Juneau, Alaska
Facility: Not disclosed
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Radiology Technologist experience
CT Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of CT Technologist experience
ARRT (CT)
ARRT (XR)

Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts
Apply radiation protection principles during procedures
Work in the department and other assigned areas
Maintain patient records and files
Support the departmental quality assurance program
Transfer patients to and from radiology
Rotate shifts as required
Take call and report to work within 20 minutes when needed
Perform other assigned duties

Housing and transportation are not provided
Start date is at least 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
Traveler must live at least 100+ miles from the facility address
