Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Contract)

Job Summary

• Immediate start required at 7:00 AM on a Monday (no exceptions).
• Mandatory two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Must be available for variable shifts totaling 80 hours over a two-week period.
• Shifts include 12-hour options: AM (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), PM (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), or 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts.
• May be required to float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed.
• Must meet the target start date without exceptions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Work Schedule

• Variable shifts with a total of 80 hours every two weeks.
• Open to 12-hour shifts, potentially working up to 72 hours per week.
• Includes holiday shifts with pay based on hours worked on the holiday.

Additional Information

• Holidays observed for pay purposes include New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
• Upon confirmation, candidates must communicate arrival date and outstanding compliance items to the facility.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Flexibility to float between Emergency, Long Term Care, and ICU units is necessary.
• Strict adherence to start date and shift availability is mandatory.
