Job Opportunity: CT Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist with expertise in diagnostic imaging to work in an acute hospital setting. The role requires independent operation of CT scanning equipment and adherence to radiologist protocols.

Required Qualifications

License: Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (higher of 2 and 3 years interpreted as 3 years)
- At least 2 years’ work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation
- Skills in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging
- Experience with biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus

Additional Requirements

Must have or obtain Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license before assignment start
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start
Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
Shifts may vary; no on-call required
