Travel RN

Location: Mountlake Terrace, Washington
Employment Type: Temporary (Travel Contract)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement including 5 weekdays and 2 weekends minimum
• Potential availability on observed holidays
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and revise patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team
• Supervise home health aides and licensed practical nurses, including assigning tasks and providing required supervisory visits
• Provide high-quality clinical services within scope of practice and infection control standards
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments (OASIS), including medication reconciliation
• Document patient visits accurately and timely according to policy and payer requirements
• Conduct initial and comprehensive nursing evaluation visits to ensure home health eligibility and medical necessity
• Communicate effectively and timely with agency staff, physicians, patients, and families to coordinate care and ensure quality
• Participate actively in meetings, case conferences, and training sessions
• Assist with orientation and precepting of new staff and students
• Engage in performance improvement activities aimed at reducing hospitalizations and improving patient safety
• Adhere to agency utilization management model
• Maintain schedule flexibility to meet patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multi-State license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (interpreted from specialty code and typical travel RN requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Health experience
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) or PointCare electronic documentation systems
