Job Overview

Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
ARRT
Critical Care Experience
Procedural Area Experience
Moderate Sedation

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Meditech experience

Work Setting

Interventional radiology unit
May assist in CT, MRI, and radiology as needed

Schedule / Call

1–2 nights of call per week
1 weekend of call every 4–5 weekends

Procedures / Responsibilities

Biopsies and drain insertion
Angiograms and peripheral vascular procedures
Paracenteses and thoracentesis
Line placement
Assist with imaging needs such as CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms

Additional Notes

Scrubs provided
RN staff are not required to scrub cases
