Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS

Unit Experience / Skills

Strong critical thinking skills
ICU experience
Floating required

Preferred Experience

MICU or MSICU background
IABP exposure
CRRT exposure

Work Environment

Documentation system: Meditech
Common procedures include chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes

Additional Notes

Badge in and out for shifts and take a full 30-minute lunch
Be on time for scheduled shifts; clock-in after 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy
Navy scrub top and pants; navy or white scrub jacket
Clean, healthy nails
Hair should be neat and clean; beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be neatly trimmed
Body art should be covered whenever possible
Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
