Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Position Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM, 3 shifts per week)

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT or MRI certification
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience
• Licensure: Florida license preferred
• Additional: AHCA required for all CHS Florida placements

Responsibilities

• Provide timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Ability to change imaging parameters to study:

  • Soft tissue
  • Arterial system
  • Brain
  • Spine
  • Joints
  • Extremities (with or without the use of contrast media)

Additional Information

• The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to float between campuses as needed and pick up additional shifts.
• Holiday pay is capped at 8 hours.
• Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited AMA school and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), along with a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.

• The position may require floating to other units.
• Understanding of the facility's EMR and dress code is beneficial.
