Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) specialty for a travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM. The facility provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care and is Joint Commission Accredited, including certifications as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience
NICU nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Compliance with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements prior to hire; may start on a 14-day waiver with supervision while awaiting results

Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the assignment location to qualify as travel
The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities
