Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a 36-bed telemetry Pulmonary unit focused on diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:6.
Provide specialized care for patients with lung diseases or injuries.
Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy departments.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Schedule options include 36 or 48 hours per week, with holidays as required and every other weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
Current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification

Work Environment & Other Details

EMR system used: Meditech
Dress code: Solid navy scrub colors
Parking available
Guaranteed 36 hours per week

This position requires a nurse with solid pulmonary and telemetry experience who is flexible to float and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
