Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have ABCP certification and a Missouri Perfusionist license.
Experience required with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head).
Procedures primarily on adults; average pump time approximately 2.5 hours.
Minimal ECMO experience with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump.
Willingness to take call approximately 2 days per week (shared weekly/weekend call).
Volume: Around 500 heart cases per year.
Unit staffing includes 7 full-time and 2 part-time perfusionists, plus 2 assistants.
Equipment used: Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp.
Documentation systems: Viper/Spectrum, Meditech.
Procedures performed: CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation.
Dress code and unit-specific policies apply.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of perfusionist experience.
Perfusionist experience within the last year.
ABCP certification.
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential.
BLS certification.

Additional Information

Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
On-call schedule requires flexibility.
Advanced perfusion skills needed for complex cardiac procedures.
