Job Details
- Discipline / Specialty: Perfusionist
- Location: Overland Park, Kansas

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have ABCP certification and a Missouri Perfusionist license.
- Experience required with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head).
- Procedures primarily on adults; average pump time approximately 2.5 hours.
- Minimal ECMO experience with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump.
- Willingness to take call approximately 2 days per week (shared weekly/weekend call).
- Volume: Around 500 heart cases per year.
- Unit staffing includes 7 full-time and 2 part-time perfusionists, plus 2 assistants.
- Equipment used: Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp.
- Documentation systems: Viper/Spectrum, Meditech.
- Procedures performed: CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation.
- Dress code and unit-specific policies apply.
Required Qualifications
- Perfusionist with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Perfusionist experience within the last year.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (T) certification.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential.
- Missouri Perfusionist License.
