Job Description

• Must have ABCP certification and a Missouri Perfusionist license.
• Experience required with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head).
• Procedures primarily on adults; average pump time approximately 2.5 hours.
• Minimal ECMO experience with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump.
• Willingness to take call approximately 2 days per week (shared weekly/weekend call).
• Volume: Around 500 heart cases per year.
• Unit staffing includes 7 full-time and 2 part-time perfusionists, plus 2 assistants.
• Equipment used: Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp.
• Documentation systems: Viper/Spectrum, Meditech.
• Procedures performed: CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation.
• Dress code and unit-specific policies apply.

Required Qualifications

• Perfusionist with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Perfusionist experience within the last year.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (T) certification.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential.
• Missouri Perfusionist License.
