Job Description
- Provide quality nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs
- Common diagnoses include Alzheimer’s, behavioral disturbance, failure to thrive, depression, and suicidal ideation
- Team-oriented work environment
- Preferred experience includes geriatric psychiatric and medical floor experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) or Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color acceptable
