Job Description

Provide quality nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs
Common diagnoses include Alzheimer’s, behavioral disturbance, failure to thrive, depression, and suicidal ideation
Team-oriented work environment
Preferred experience includes geriatric psychiatric and medical floor experience

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) or Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)

Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
Dress code: Scrubs of any color acceptable
